The Presbyterian Foundation Group is pleased to sponsor the Youth Mission Initiative (ymiLIVE) in an effort to bring together generations of Presbyterians to connect and engage with others throughout the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). 

So, who are we?  Think of us as your local community foundation for Presbyterians.  We care about what's important to you; the ministries you wish to support, investing your financial resources based on socially-responsible guidelines, planning your estate and creating a legacy.  And because we are the Presbyterian Foundation Group, our services reflect the principles of faithful stewardship we share with Presbyterians around the corner and around the world.
 

You may ask, why are you involved in this initiative? How can you not get excited about the future when listening to the youth of our denomination? Their point of view, passion and creativity is exactly what we would like to showcase in the Video Challenge. Theirs is a story the Church wants to hear! While we cannot give every group who participates an endowment fund to support their youth ministry, we hope the experience of being involved in this initiative is of value to each member and the group as a whole.

We could have given a cash award, but by establishing an endowment fund we are also hoping to set an example of the importance of endowing future ministry and, perhaps, even teaching a new generation about the value of preparing and saving for the days ahead.  Many ministries today benefit from endowment funds established generations ago by those with a passion for a mission and the foresight to provide support in perpetuity.
